Liu Kang

Liu Kang is a flow artist and producer whose practice sits where movement meets electronic music. On RDY VIP, he joined fellow flow artist Andrew Sandoz for one of the longest conversations in the show's catalog — a deep dive into the musicality of flow arts, the relationship between spinning or hooping and the beat, and the festival communities that have grown up around flow. Liu Kang also produces his own tracks, bringing the rhythm-first sensibility of a flow artist into the studio. His half of the episode frames flow as a creative discipline in its own right, not a side activity.
